About The Position

This role will lead and manage complex projects and services related to specific initiatives. This role involves acting as the project lead for the implementation and maintenance of large-scale, often national projects. It ensures seamless integration between various departments, Blue Plans, customers, vendors, and other business partners throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and facilitate initiatives, adapting to shifting priorities, identifying opportunities and solutions, and ensuring deliverables are met while staying current on industry trends and applying learnings to initiatives. Apply effective project management techniques, including organization, tracking, communication, risk identification, and solution implementation, while creating and maintaining necessary documentation and assessing programs’ information to inform decisions. Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and leadership, synthesizing implementation status, identifying risks/issues, and reporting results. Interface proactively across business units to support workgroups, develop related materials and communications, participate in cross-functional teams supporting initiatives, deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers, and assist with strategy development and implementation. The posting range for this position is: $97,408.00-$134,477.43

Requirements

  • 4+ Years related business experience, including managing large, complex projects
  • Competency in BCBSA Core values: inclusivity, accountability, courage, teamwork, and respect.
  • Proficiency in developing reports, process flows, procedures, and other project management materials.
  • Working business analyst skills with the ability to synthesize and translate data.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders from various functional areas.
  • Working knowledge of the health insurance industry and national healthcare delivery.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and resource management skills.
  • Effective relationship management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Four years of related business experience, including managing large, complex projects.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting and working with Blue Plans.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and building consensus in a decentralized decision-making structure.
