About The Position

Seeking an Integration Engineer in the Construction Engineering department for Blue Ridge Communications. General duties will include: Establishing cable routing in the field for new or rebuilt cable systems Responsible for new line extension inquires Responsible for PenTeleData inquires Responsible for utility pole audits Gathering all field information and measurements needed for construction and system design Contacting customers with information pertaining to their extension Applying for pole permits Obtaining and Notarizing private right of ways, public permits and any additional required permits as needed Working with utility companies and state projects for pole relocation, make ready work and other duties associated with pole line work Working closely with system designers regarding fieldwork on a daily basis Performing other related duties and tasks as required Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
• 3-5 Years' experience in cable design and construction design
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Valid PA Driver's license and good driving record
• Working knowledge of CAD
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)
• Ability to read blueprints and/or map drawings
• General knowledge of construction pole line practices
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
