About The Position

The Integrated Strategy Supervisor is a central facet within the combined Brand-Digital Integrated Strategy team. Working under the guidance of the Integrated Brand Group Director and/or Associate Director, ISS constructs the strategic foundation for media plan development and ensures consistency across all channels. As a key agency contact, he/she/they maintain strong relationships with clients, partner agencies, media vendors and internal departments. The ISS applies his/her/their knowledge of industry trends and Horizon’s consumer/channel insight resources to offer the clients fresh thinking. He/she/They supervises all team projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time and reflect both practical and strategic thinking. They will work closely with their team to develop cross-channel strategies, and recommend/activate digital media plans that meet campaign imperatives and client objectives. The ISS is a crucial position which requires an individual to work well within a team and be prepared for a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. This individual is expected to show resourcefulness, exhibit accountability, work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding media account projects
  • Deep understanding of all media channels across both traditional and digital and upper and lower funnel
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts
  • Experience with a third party ad server (DCM preferred)
  • On top of industry trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media research/reporting resources
  • Prior experience in a Client contact and leadership role
  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals, with ability to manage a team of 1-3 people
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and “sell through” ideas both internally and to Clients
  • Strong writing, presentation and strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Organized, and detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
  • Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests
  • Strong team player
  • Interest and familiarity through use of digital media
