These services will enable MCRC to sustain daily recruiting operations worldwide, while aligning with DoD, DoN, and USMC standards to enhance efficiency, readiness, and resilience. AT&T has an opening for an INS Lead to oversee and maintain a globally distributed network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, reliability, and security of the Recruiting Command Enterprise Network (RCEN) across more than 1,500 sites. The INS Lead will manage wired/wireless networks, firewalls, VPNs, cloud connectivity, and telephony/VoIP services, while collaborating with cybersecurity teams and DoD/commercial partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred and 5+ years of network operations/engineering experience with enterprise-scale networks.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, F5 BIG-IP, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Aruba AirWave).
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, and security best practices.
  • Experience supporting remote sites, MPLS/WAN, cloud networks, and VoIP systems.
  • Ability to document, analyze, and optimize network performance.
  • Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams and vendors.
  • Must have one or more of the following: Comptia Security+, CND, CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, Security X/CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT
  • Required Clearance: Secret (#secret)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operation, maintenance, upgrade, and monitoring of RCEN network infrastructure.
  • Configure, operate, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPNs, and remote site connectivity.
  • Implement and manage network security, Zero Trust architecture, and NAC/C2C solutions (e.g., Forescout, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass).
  • Monitor network performance, forecast capacity, and provide reports.
  • Manage cloud-based networking resources (Azure, AWS) and ensure secure connectivity.
  • Maintain E911 services, VoIP/telephony infrastructure, and QoS optimization.
  • Coordinate with MCRC, DoD, MARFORCYBER, DISA, and commercial providers.
  • Maintain SOPs, network documentation, and asset inventories.
