Utilizing your strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, the Transition to Production ILS Specialist is responsible for coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, program leadership, and other functional teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to production. This includes developing TTP plans, schedules, and documentation, identifying and mitigating risks, conducting readiness reviews, and monitoring progress to keep stakeholders informed. The goal is to ensure that all aspects of production are ready and aligned for successful product launch and sustainment. A strong TTP candidate will have to leverage their skills in the following areas in order to make a positive impact: Project Management: Strong organizational and planning abilities. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and present reports, presentations, and briefings. Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments. Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Capability to address and resolve production-related issues promptly. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and reporting. Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with standards and requirements. Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Familiarity with SSP Advanced Inventory and Logisitcs (SAIL) tool. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience)
  • plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
