About The Position

1. Work closely with our Third-Party Administrators (TPA) to ensure all employee claims are processed in accordance with CCHC Policies and Procedures. 2. Monitor the status of all leaves of absence, disability, and workers' compensation claims. 3. Communicate and educate employees, managers, and HR staff on leave of absence, disability, and workers' compensation process and programs. 4. Update the HR System to ensure accurate leave of absence tracking. Advise the IDM Manager regarding HR systems and potential policy or procedural changes. 5. Compile and provide weekly time-sensitive reports to the Payroll Department. These reports identify employees approved for Leave of absence, PFML Supplementing, STD, Workers’ Compensation, and Return to Work status of employees. 6. Review hours for FMLA compliance to determine the type of leave (FMLA or LOA) to ensure correct coding in the ATSS system. Ensure compliance with Federal and State Regulations. 7. Provide assistance to employees, managers, and HR who have questions regarding leave of absence, pay while on leave, and the workers’ compensation process. 8. Maintain primary responsibility for completion of all leave or disability related paperwork. 9. Participate in departmental projects and offer input for the continuous improvement of HR/Benefit practices. 10. Substitute as a resource in the absence of the IDM Manager and the other Integrated Disability Specialist. 11. Participate in leave of absence webinars/training, process improvement projects, HR system testing, and other required training opportunities. 12. Participate in department staff meetings. 13. Meet with supervisor regularly to establish a plan to develop new skills and competencies through new professional training opportunities and experiences. 14. Perform other duties as assigned. 15. Consistently provide service excellence to all employees, family members, and co-workers in a manner that reflects Cape Cod Healthcare’s commitment to CARES\: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and service.

Requirements

  • Leave of Absence, Benefits, or Payroll data entry skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Word/Excel
  • Knowledge of HR and Leave data management systems and processes.
  • General knowledge of Leave of Absence, Workers’ Compensation, and Disability Programs
  • Ability to communicate with managers and employees regarding Leave of Absence, Workers’ Compensation, and disability practices.
  • General knowledge of Employee Benefit and Pay Programs

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of relevant experience or educational equivalent
  • One year of HR, Benefits, or Payroll experience
