About The Position

Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) is a non-profit corporation partnering with the State of California Department of Developmental Services. CVRC provides case management and service coordination by identifying resources, programs and activities to refer individuals to in collaboration with other agencies to develop the best services for individuals served and their families. CVRC serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and children at risk to support and promote community inclusion. CVRC provides case management for individuals residing in the Central Valley, covering six counties that include Fresno, Tulare, Merced, Kings, Mariposa, and Madera. This position performs skilled data and coding entry. Performs administrative and intake support in their specific office location. Persons in this position are expected to perform a wide variety of administrative duties with only intermittent supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or AA and 1 year experience in related field.
  • Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to spell and punctuate accurately.
  • Ability to operate office equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and coordinate workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a detailed, organized manner.
  • Ability to use various computer applications, including, but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing, and email.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, sound independent judgment, flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

  • Enters and processes client data in an accurate and timely manner on the SANDIS system to include, but not limited to demographic client data, and counselor code numbers.
  • Uploads documents pertaining to client information and appointments into Therefore.
  • Screens source documents and proofreads keyed material to produce error free work that is in conformance with agency guidelines. Uploads documents into filing software.
  • Schedules all psychologist’s assessment appointments and started the IDER process. Maintains staffing tracking sheet, completes process through its full completion. Processes appointment letters and C&E’s associated with psychologist appointments.
  • Schedules interpreters as requested for Psychologist/ Intake appointments and processes documents and C&E’s with contracted agencies and staff psychologists.
  • Prepares correspondences, reports, and letters for mailing, including but not limited to eligibility letters, 2 party letters and appointment letters.
  • Coordinates with outside dictation companies to process documents for transcription services.
  • Maintains clinical teams schedule utilizing calendar/ scheduling software.
  • Supports effective and efficient business practice.
  • Maintains positive business relationships, confidentiality, good attendance, punctuality, and acts in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
