About The Position

Our client, located in Dallas, is looking for an Intake Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will be onsite Monday through Friday. Position Description: Conduct intake calls for new clients ensuring they are placed with a clinician and all information shared regarding the first visit Collect insurance information, new client forms and take co-payments as needed Collects pertinent information (credit card, insurance, etc.) from potential clients to assure optimal care is provided Receive and manage calls and client appointment schedule changes or additions in Electronic Health Record software Contribute to the Client Services team effort by accomplishing related administrative tasks as assigned Takes initiative and ownership for work; suggests improvements in order to enhance the resolution of issues Respectful of client, clinician and support staff confidentiality and complies with HIPAA regulations

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, client driven environment
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, professionalism and empathy
  • Knowledge of Medical Insurance Plans
  • Proficient in the screening and intake process
  • Professional appearance, telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is preferred but not required
  • Medical scheduling software experience preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint, MS Office and Excel a plus
