About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers. The Intake Nurse will manage the complete medical intake process to ensure a seamless transition for clients into treatment at the residential facility in South Bend, Indiana. This role involves completing all nursing shift duties, coordinating pharmacy and prescription needs, dispensing medication, maintaining accurate med logs, collaborating with extended medical, clinical, and UR teams for total coordination of care, and ensuring complete, timely, and accurate medical documentation for each client.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented, withy ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Compassionate and dignified character which models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

• Experience in substance use disorder (SUD) and/or behavioral health settings strongly preferred, with demonstrated understanding of recovery-oriented care and patient-centered support.

Responsibilities
