About The Position

The Intake Lot Technician is responsible for managing and organizing incoming materials and products within the warehouse or storage area. This role ensures that all items are accurately received, inspected, and documented to maintain inventory integrity and support the overall efficiency of the supply chain process.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role.
Experience with intake and processing of goods and materials in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate intake and recording of materials.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
Problem-solving skills to address any discrepancies or issues with incoming lots.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required in a warehouse setting.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload incoming shipments of materials and products, ensuring accuracy and completeness of delivery.
Inspect incoming items for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate department.
Accurately document and record all received items into the inventory management system.
Organize and store materials in designated locations, maintaining a clean and orderly storage area.
Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received shipments.
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the efficient flow of materials and information.
Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations while handling materials and equipment.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within the intake and storage operations.
