You’ll verify insurance, complete intake documentation, schedule appointments, and maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in medical office administration, intake, or front-desk support preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and gather required information at the point of intake
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits; ensure financial clearance
  • Schedule appointments for consultations, assessments, and follow-up care
  • Accurately complete intake and admission paperwork
  • Maintain up-to-date census information using Bed Board
  • Enter client/patient demographic and clinical information into the EHR
  • Communicate effectively with referral sources and internal departments
  • Address client concerns and coordinate appropriate resolutions
  • Maintain organized client charts and perform clerical support duties
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Participate in cross-location collaboration and support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
