About The Position
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. Must have good phone skills and able to work in a fast paced environment. The Intake Counselor screens callers contacting AGMC’s Behavioral Health Unit via phone for possible admission, or referral to community resources. Coordinates admissions to inpatient services.
Requirements
- High school diploma, preferred
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient psychiatric, either working on a psychiatric unit and/or handling intake calls for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
