About The Position

The Intake Worker/Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring inquiry calls. Assists Admissions staff with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information. Work with Receptionist to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience working in a hospital Intake department or business office preferred.
  • Successful completion of CPR, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-escalation. Certification may be obtained during new hire orientation.
  • May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Human-related field.
  • C.N.A. highly desirable.
