About The Position

As a member of Credible’s Insurance Servicing Team, you live by the motto “knowledge is power” and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Working alongside our sales team, you will be assisting with monitoring policy activity on a daily basis. You’ll also maintain records for each customer or policyholder including policies that are being canceled or non-renewed. You’ll respond to customer inquiries and renewal support requests by email and phone. Through focusing on database maintenance and integrity, you’ll learn the ins and outs of Credible and prepare yourself to grow into a critical member of the Credible team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred (Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • 1-3 years of insurance experience, ideally in home and auto insurance
  • Experience using GSuites (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Handling customer requests through email and phone making sure that the multiple available programs and optimal level of customer service are utilized appropriately
  • Monitoring various processes for the verification of client information and entering it into our internal database
  • Collaborating with sales agents for all referral details, assisting to figure out complicated issues and resolving them efficiently
  • Developing various insurance processes and supporting to facilitate improvement of the team, and monitoring all carrier communications related to policy activity
  • Maintaining all processes and filters, providing technical assistance to the entire workflow, and maintaining communication in routine activities
  • Modifying, updating, and processing existing policy cancellations
  • Corresponding with the agent or the insured to inform them or receive the information about the account status or alterations
  • Evaluating original insurance applications, letters from agents or policyholders, and other documents of the company in order to find out the effects of changes or needs to make changes
  • Reviewing and verifying data such as name, address, age, policies, and the principal sum
  • Organizing and working with detailed office records and managing files for all policyholders individually, including policies that are to be canceled or reinstated
  • Confirming initial premiums, transcribing data to worksheets, entering data into the computer for adjusting accounts, etc.
