About The Position

Smile Brands is a dominant player in the dental space, we're seeking an Insurance Payment Processor to join the Smile Brands team in San Antonio, TX. This person will be a part of the Central Billing Office team supporting to process customers payments. An ideal candidate would be detail oriented and feels comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Experience with insurance claims adjudication and reviewing EOB's
• Experience working in healthcare/dental
• Data entry experience including 10-key
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (most importantly Excel)
• Must be able to work full-time, Monday - Friday, over-time hours, and occasional Saturday

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Dentrix/Ascend
• Proficient touch typing skills with a typing speed of 50 WPM
• Experience with cash handling

Responsibilities

• Data entry of payments into patient accounts in multiple PMS
• Reviewing and adjusting the claim according to EOB to bill or credit patient if needed in multiple PMS
• Data entry of capitation payments in multiple PMS
• Data entry and search of patient accounts for our automated system using multiple search engines
• Ensuring postings/data entry for the day are balanced to the days live check deposits
• Ensuring postings/data entry for the day are balanced to the electronic deposits
• Responsible for logging what is completed daily in our electronic deposits
• Responsible for logging what is completed daily in our electronic deposits for the automated system
• Filing all completed EOBs in the end of day packet
• Reporting posting totals and live check leftovers over to management every end of day
• Running and completing weekly reports and audits
• Resolving Posting Support Tickets
