About The Position

Insurance Classic Intern Join AAA’s Roadways College Internship Program! AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the Insurance Classic Team for a 10-week internship. Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in programs contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the Insurance Classic Team. About the Roadways College Internship Program: Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including: Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust

Requirements

• Must be a Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with programming languages such as Java, HTML, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or VB .NET.
• Basic familiarity with SOAP and REST APIs, designing Java web services, and linking them to SQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, GitHub, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated, eager to learn, willing to ask questions, and able to apply new knowledge quickly.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must commit to the entirety of the program, June 22nd through August 28th
• Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week
• Must be willing to commute to the office daily

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to code development tools such as Eclipse or VS Code is a plus.
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Python) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Insurance Classic team members on various projects and tasks
• Attend weekly operational and strategic insight sessions with senior leaders
• Attend learning and development sessions to further enhance your leadership skills
• Design and deliver interactive, audience-ready presentations using Microsoft Office tools (including, but not limited to, PowerPoint)
• Network with executives and senior leaders across different business units
• Participate in team building and volunteer events
• Participate in job shadowing/hands-on activities
