OneGroup, a leading Insurance and Risk Management firm based in Central New York, is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to participate in the organization’s day-to-day operations, supporting a variety of critical business functions and development initiatives. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to the insurance and risk management industry while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic, state-of-the-art work environment.

Requirements

  • Current Senior-level student or entering Senior year in Fall 2025; post-graduate candidates will also be considered
  • Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Major in Business, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, or a related field preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and comfortable using menu-driven software
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Strong organizational, research, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and willing to support projects as needed
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Support a variety of projects across Business and Personal Insurance, Employee Benefits, Human Resources Consulting, Accounting, Claims, Risk Management, and Sales
  • Participate in real-time client projects, gaining hands-on professional experience
  • Assist with departmental business development initiatives
  • Attend and support client meetings and appointments
  • Participate in networking events and professional activities
  • Support the sales process, including client engagement and meeting preparation
  • Provide general business and administrative support as needed
  • Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned
