About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators achieve affordable insurance solutions and financial security. This role involves building and managing your own agency within an exclusive territory, focusing on market access, relationship building, and presenting a comprehensive multiline product portfolio to groups and individuals. The company offers competitive, performance-based 1099 compensation with a 48-month incentive package, dedicated service support, cutting-edge technology, and ongoing training. Agents are expected to actively engage in networking, community, and industry events, and invest in the long-term success of their business. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)

• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry
