About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a Instrumentation Systems and Integration Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO supporting Phantom Works. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Instrumentations Systems and Integration Engineers - Phantom Works. Position Responsibilities: Applies knowledge of aerospace components, systems, and related test equipment, facilities, processes and methods including: Analyze engineering designs to define testing requirements; Prepare test plans, schedules and documentation Design, develop and safely operate test facilities and instrumentation systems Conduct component, sub-system, system and system-of-systems tests Prepare analyze, and report test results to verify and validate design and performance to meet government, regulatory, customer and program compliance requirements Conduct aerospace research and preliminary design; develop and transition test technology Perform metrology services (calibration, certification & maintenance) on all related instruments and equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Nice To Haves

  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience designing special test equipment for flight programs and supporting proposals
  • 3+ years of experience with precision test and measurement devices
  • 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or something similar
  • 3+ years of experience with flight test, flight operations, or system test
