The School of Arts & Sciences at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor or Instructor of Computer Science position, beginning August 2026. This position is part of a rapidly growing program with the planned launch of a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) major, offering an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of computing education at the university. The successful candidate will teach in our undergraduate programs in computer science and related disciplines. We are especially interested in candidates who demonstrate a passion for teaching and mentorship, and who can help students develop hands-on, career-relevant skills in areas such as programming, data, and emerging AI technologies. The program emphasizes applied learning through real-world projects, including areas such as data analysis, application development, and AI-driven systems. (Mount St. Joseph University) Primary teaching responsibilities may include courses in introductory and intermediate computer science, data analytics, and AI-related topics. The ability to contribute to departmental needs in mathematics or quantitative coursework is a plus.
