Professional Development Coordinator to lead and align our professional development initiatives with the college's core mission, vision, and values. The role will be responsible for designing and implementing evidence-based professional development programs that have a measurable impact on teaching, learning, and campus culture. This involves conducting needs assessments, setting clear goals, and evaluating outcomes to ensure continuous improvement. A key part of the role will be to promote broad-based ownership, engaging all members of our campus community-faculty, staff, administrators-in a collaborative approach to professional development. The role will also be instrumental in embedding a culturally responsive framework into our programs, integrating Indigenous knowledge, practices, and values in alignment with Hawai'i Papa O Ke Ao and the Ka'u reports. Ultimately, the role will help advance our Strategic Plan by ensuring that our professional development initiatives contribute directly to our excellence as an Indigenous-serving institution and to our overarching goal of student success and equitable outcomes.
