About The Position

The Division of Infectious Diseases at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School is seeking a new faculty member to support the expansion of inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultation and care services and medical student teaching at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. The new faculty member will consult on the management of a wide variety of infectious illnesses and infectious complications, working with a dedicated Infectious Disease fellow. Direct patient care will also be provided to infectious disease patients, including those living with HIV infection, in a state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary infectious disease ambulatory practice. The faculty member will mentor and teach medical students a part of the New Jersey Medical School Community Learning Group. Opportunities to join and eventually lead clinical research studies are also available at the onsite NIH-funded Clinical Trials Unit that is funded to perform HIV and COVID-19 treatment and prevention studies. Candidates at various levels of experience are encouraged to apply, as mentoring will be available and encouraged. Requirements
