Radford University invites applications for a Full Time Special Purpose 9-month Instructor/Assistant Professor position in the School of Nursing at the Radford University Carilion Campus. Responsibilities include lecture, skills laboratory instruction, and clinical teaching in acute care settings with the expectation of recent clinical practice. Prior experience teaching Nursing in the classroom, online, skills laboratory, and in clinical settings is desired. Preference will be given to those applicants with the education, certification, clinical experience, and desire to teach Community Health Nursing and Medical/Surgical Nursing in the undergraduate BSN programs. This position requires classroom responsibilities in addition to clinical responsibilities. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. A Master of Science in Nursing is required as is the eligibility to apply for unencumbered Virginia licensure.
