About The Position
Serve as director of the Writing Center and teach composition/rhetoric related courses. Position also requires a commitment to an ongoing scholarly agenda and University service.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in English, Rhetoric/Composition, or related field.
- ABD with an anticipated dissertation completion date within 12 months of the start date may be considered; individuals who are ABD would be hired at a rank of instructor until the doctorate is complete.
- Experience with writing center/writing program administration and tutor training
- Experience teaching written and oral communication courses
- Commitment to ongoing scholarly agenda
- University service
