About The Position

Radford University invites applications for a Tenure Track 9-month Instructor/Assistant Professor position in the School of Nursing at the Radford University Carilion Campus in Roanoke, Virginia. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service with expectations of recent clinical practice. Prior experience teaching Nursing in the classroom, online, skills laboratory, and in clinical settings is desired. Preference will be given to those applicants with the education, certification, clinical experience, and desire to teach adult health nursing including critical care, psychiatric/mental health, obstetric and pediatric nursing in the classroom and in the clinical setting in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service with the expectation of recent clinical practice. This position requires clinical teaching in addition to lecture responsibilities. Radford University Carilion is located in Roanoke, VA, the Star City, with beautiful mountain views and an urban vibe. Requirements

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING WITH A DOCTORATE IN NURSING , or related field
Unencumbered Virginia licensure eligibility is required.
Recent clinical experience expected.

This program requires classroom responsibilities in addition to clinical responsibilities.
