The Department of Finance at Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business is seeking to fill a non-tenure tack Assistant Professor (Teaching) or an Instructor (Teaching) position starting Fall 2026. The Finance Department has an accomplished faculty with publications in top journals, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, The Accounting Review, and Journal of Accounting and Economics among others. The department provides a supportive research environment with resources including WRDS, SAS, SPSS, STATA, CRSP, Compustat, SDC Platinum New Issues and M&A, Refinitiv Workspace (formerly SDC Platinum), ExecuComp, Audit Analytics, and access to a finance lab with Bloomberg terminals, including a state-of-the-art trading room.
