Requirements

Master's degree in Biology or closely related field with a strong emphasis on Anatomy or Physiology
Evidence of collaboration and teamwork.

3 years community college teaching experience
Ability to teach a range of courses and adjust expectations and strategies to meet the needs of the course.

Responsibilities

Teach a variety of Anatomy and Physiology courses, including Structure & Function of the Human Body, Human Biology Sequence and Anatomy and Physiology sequence. Course schedules may include an occasional evening, weekend or condensed formats. May involve teaching hybrid sections.
Remain current on effective teaching and learning practices that promote equity and inclusion for underrepresented groups in science
Serve on department and institutional committees,
Accept any special assignments that further the mission of AACC, particularly collaborating with Health Science programs about our curriculum and efforts.
