The Instructional Teacher – Non‑Cycle Areas provides high-quality, engaging instruction in specialized content areas that advance student growth and achievement. These roles are essential to elevating our school’s vision that students learn by doing and through experiential learning. Instruction in these areas provides the innovative, hands-on learning opportunities we promise to deliver to students as members of our learning community. Educators in these roles model professional responsibilities aligned with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Five Core Propositions. They often require flexibility and participation in additional duties that are critical to the smooth operation of the school. This role emphasizes the professional and ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) to support instructional planning, differentiation, assessment, and student engagement, while maintaining teacher autonomy, professional judgment, and student-centered learning.
