White Pine Innovations is seeking a Instructional Systems Designer to support the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) in Arlington, VA. The Instructional Systems Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the full lifecycle of training development and program management. Training Program Strategy & Evaluation: · Establish and execute a comprehensive review plan for all DSCU training activities to identify and address gaps against industry standards. · Analyze training needs and recommend modifications to the overall training program, including standardized methods for delivery and evaluation. · Use the Kirkpatrick model to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of all training programs. Instructional Design & Content Development: · Lead the design and development of curriculum and engaging course content for classroom, eLearning, and web-based delivery using ISD principles. · Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives and create supporting materials, including audio, video, simulations, and scenario-based learning activities. · Develop all materials using eLearning software such as Articulate, Captivate, and Camtasia. LMS Platform Management (Cornerstone): · Build, deploy, and manage all training content within the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS). · Provide technical support to customers and stakeholders on the use of the Cornerstone platform. · Design and generate standard, customized, and recurring reports and notifications within the LMS to support program managers. Advisory & Collaboration: · Provide advisory support and share lessons learned with the HR-LMD team. · Create and maintain an electronic resource with key points of contact and course information to ensure mission continuity.
