About The Position

What You’ll Do In this role, you will be responsible for: Learning Design & Development - 60% Apply adult learning principles to ensure learning experiences and deliverables are practical, modern, engaging, and outcomes-driven Research, gather, and organize content, and use authoring tools such as Canva, Articulate, RISE 360, to translate content into learning assets that result in positive behavioral change Establish measurable learning objectives and success criteria for every learning deliverable/asset, incorporating knowledge checks or assessments to evaluate learned comprehension and effectiveness, and tie back to organizational outcomes needed Design and develop comprehensive learning assets, including: Change Management Communication Notification of training/learning opportunities for all levels in the organization, nudges for training completion, and celebration of milestones achieved Presentations for all levels of the organization using Beautiful AI, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and more Facilitator guides that are detailed and descriptive (T3 - Train the trainer) Job aids, FAQs, and SOPs that are simple to follow along with and update as tech and processes evolve Podcasts, talking head videos, and microlearning videos that show an old process vs. a new process, or “how-to” Blended learning solutions that include self-paced e-learning modules for review, assessments, and independent studying, and accountability Create a process to manage version control, document accuracy, and secure distribution of learning assets in environments without a centralized knowledge base, ensuring stakeholders always have access to the most current and approved materials Maintain a high standard of accessibility, accuracy, clarity, and visual quality across all learning assets Identify issues early, solve problems independently, and implement solutions quickly Communication & Enablement - 20% Deliver clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communications to stakeholders, teammates, SMEs, learners, and leaders regarding new learning opportunities, expectations, and outcomes using professionally approachable language Translate complex or ambiguous stakeholder requests into simple, actionable learning solutions without losing accuracy or compliance requirements Proactively communicate the status of all projects to stakeholders and the Learning Solutions team Partner closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements, validate content accuracy, and ensure learning solutions meet business and regulatory needs Proactively manage SMEs by setting expectations, timelines, and deliverables to keep projects moving efficiently Project Management - 15% Own and manage multiple learning projects simultaneously from request through revisions, delivery, and maintenance Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, including prioritization, timeline management, risk identification, and mitigation using limited tools like My Ninety - Rocks, Milestones, To-Dos, and IDS, Slack for project management, and JIRA ticketing Adapt quickly and effectively when priorities shift, while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines Facilitation and Training Delivery - 5% Conduct virtual live learning sessions dynamically and engagingly, fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring participants comprehend the objectives, demonstrate the objectives, retain the content, and feel more confident in their role moving forward as needed, including but not limited to: Lead train-the-trainer/train-the-manager sessions so others can facilitate programs you’ve created Facilitate leadership training programs that incorporate company culture, core competencies, communication skills (soft skills), with hands-on practice and role-play for processes and procedures At TopDog Law, everyone is expected to think critically, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their work. Requirements

  • A proven reliability and availability to work remotely and fulfill a typical 40-hour a week schedule, and be available between the hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zone
  • Bachelor’s degree in E-Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of corporate experience in instructional design within the legal field (personal injury law would be ideal), the medical field, or other related highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
  • Extreme organizational and editing skills
  • Proficiency with e-learning and productivity tools, including: Rippling LMS Articulate Storyline and RISE 360 Canva G-Suite Office 365
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and clarity.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate progress and outcomes effectively.
  • Ability to problem-solve in the moment, identify issues, and resolve them quickly.
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed
