What we are looking for: A creative and team-focused Instructional Designer who is in agreement with Prison Fellowship's Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct to develop instructional content and learning experiences for program participants, staff, and volunteers in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will analyze business goals, performance gaps, and learner needs to determine the right learning or performance support solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, adult education, curriculum design or similar; graduate degree preferred
  • 5 years of instructional design experience
  • Solid background in adult education, curriculum design, instructional technology, and instructional design; facilitation skills preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office productivity tools, project management tools, and storyboarding ; e xperience using Articulate Rise desired
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as client-facing customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
  • Deliver high-quality instructional content by using the ADDIE framework and applying tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods
  • Coordinate with project managers to maintain project documentation and follow established development processes and workflows
  • Provide in-person or virtual facilitation for end-users and/or trainers as needed for piloting instructor-led courses
  • Serve as admin of Prison Fellowship learning platforms (e.g., adding new courses and users in the PFMLearn learning management system)
