About The Position

In this position... We are seeking creative and motivated Instructional Designers to join our Dealer Training and Productivity team supporting Cross Brand Technology, Ford and Lincoln Products or Parts and Service content creation. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and implementation of engaging eLearning to support dealership teams. This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital learning, visual design, and technology-driven education. This position reports to the Program Manager for the designated content area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and SCORM/xAPI standards.
  • Strong visual design sense and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest or experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of instructional design, eLearning development, or related experience
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 suite (Storyline & Rise).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating interactive eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and performance support tools for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and publish digital training content using Articulate Rise, or other similar programs.
  • Create and edit graphics, animations, and video content using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to ensure training is engaging and effective.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, content team members and business owners to gather content and validate accuracy.
  • Review and test learning products to ensure usability, functionality, and brand consistency.
  • Assist in uploading, tracking, and maintaining learning content within the LMS.
  • Stay current on instructional technology trends and training innovations.
