Position Summary FLP is seeking a sophisticated Institutional Portfolio Manager to join our Institutional Advisory team. In this high-impact role, you will leverage deep financial acumen to thoughtfully construct portfolios designed around client investment objectives. As a key representative of FLP, you will operate in a professional, client-facing setting, delivering tailored investment strategies and Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) services to our institutional partners.

Requirements

  • 7 + years of related experience working for an institutional investment management firm
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, Management, or a related field
  • A positive, solutions-focused attitude with a commitment to being intellectually curious, respectful, and kind in all workplace interactions
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain absolute confidentiality regarding sensitive client information
  • A track record of delivering consistent, high-tier customer service to both internal colleagues and external stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA, CFA® or an equivalent professional designation is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Construction & OCIO Services: Build individualized financial portfolios for institutional clients and provide comprehensive OCIO services to meet complex organizational needs.
  • Risk Management: Regularly rebalance portfolios to ensure alignment with client goals, maintaining strict compliance with Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and stated risk tolerances.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact, promptly addressing client inquiries and providing expert guidance that adapts to evolving market conditions and client needs.
  • Investment Strategy & Research: Actively participate in weekly research calls, presenting original investment ideas and providing constructive feedback on firm-wide strategies.
  • Growth & Representation: Represent FLP's investment platform to intermediaries and clients. Play a proactive role in the market to drive organic growth and firm visibility.
  • Market Monitoring: Maintain a current working knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and global market risks and opportunities.
  • Professional Development: Maintain industry certifications and stay ahead of the curve through continuous education.
