GENERAL FUNCTION: Proactively partner with Institutional Senior Portfolio Managers (ISPMs) in handling investment management and reporting requirements for institutional clients. Review institutional client Investment Policy Statements for proper investment management solutions within the Fifth Third Institutional Investment Management Platform. Responsible for being fluent in the implementation and management of each component of the Institutional Investment Management Platform and reporting requirements. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required. A major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration preferred.
Prior investment experience strongly preferred: Zero – two years’ investment experience with MBA or CFA desired One – four years’ investment experience with Bachelor's degree desired
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to learn additional software systems.
Good communication (interpersonal, written, and verbal) skills.
Effective problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive client experience through the production of timely and accurate client reporting, fully utilizing and understanding the Investment Management Group’s comprehensive platform of software systems, including but are not limited to Wealthstation and FirstRate.
Assist ISPMs in the development of satisfied clients and new sources of investment management revenue.
Develop a working rhythm with assigned ISPMs to prudently handle projects, tasks and client requirements.
Develop a collaborative partnership with Fifth Third Institutional Services team members in delivering a positive client experience.
Prepare sales and investment review materials for use in current and prospective client presentations.
Provide research and analysis on client portfolios using complex data services (Bloomberg, Morningstar, etc.).
Under the direction of the ISPM, execute investment programs utilizing models and mutual funds to accomplish client objectives.
Follow established investment policies and procedures including annual account reviews and working to minimize and/or document exceptions.
Partner with assigned ISPMs to maintain all compliance documentation, maintaining green status on monthly compliance reporting.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with IMG Administrative Team.
