About The Position

Under the supervision of the Manager of Philanthropy & Stewardship, you will be responsible for securing and stewarding public and private institutional funding, including state, federal, and foundation grants. The Institutional Giving & Partnerships Officer manages the full grants lifecycle – from prospecting and proposal development through reporting and compliance and serves as a key liaison to funding partners.

Hybrid Role, 20% Remote Work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
• 3-5 years of experience in institutional giving or grants management required.
• Must have ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
• Computer and database management skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
• Collaboration and teamwork.
• The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with public funding and compliance requirements preferred.
• Familiarity with nonprofit or human services organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an annual grants calendar and pipeline.
• Research, prioritize, and pursue funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
• Write and submit clear, compelling grants proposals and narratives.
• Manage grant reporting, compliance, and renewal requirements.
• Coordinate with program and the Finance Team to collect outcomes, data, and budgets.
• Track grant deliverables and deadlines to ensure compliance.
• Support cultivation and stewardship of relationships with government agencies and foundation partners.
• Coordinate site visits, reports, and funder communications.
