The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is seeking a full-time Institutional Giving Manager. The Institutional Giving Manager plays a key leadership role in advancing OMSI's institutional fundraising program by managing a portfolio of foundation, corporate, and public funders, with an emphasis on high-level and complex grants and gifts. This position focuses on securing significant institutional funding to support OMSI's general operations, exhibitions, capital projects, strategic initiatives, and multi-year campaigns. The role is responsible for the full grant lifecycle, from prospecting, to strategy and proposal development, to post-award compliance and stewardship. This role is responsible for identifying , cultivating, soliciting , and stewarding a portfolio of local, regional, and national funders, with a current annual revenue goal of $ 750,000+ in institutional gifts and grants. Annual increases in unrestricted contributed revenues of 5% or more are expected, with a goal of increasing total unrestricted and restricted support to $1.2 million annually within five years. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Giving, the Institutional Giving Manager collaborates with the Institutional Giving team, the rest of the Development team, program staff, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals, ensure alignment with funder priorities, and maintain rigorous compliance with public and private grant requirements. This position brings specialized expertise in public and government grant writing and reporting, while also managing large-scale proposals from private foundations and corporations. The Institutional Giving Manager actively integrates diversity, equity, access, and inclusion throughout all aspects of their work and contributes significantly to strategic prospect development, development communications, and department-wide initiatives.
