About The Position

The Installation Technician is responsible for facilitating new customer account activation in-person onsite at our client's locations (throughout Chicagoland). The Installation Technician will walk new customers through setting up credit card processing terminals, gateways, and mobile chip readers. Install needed soft and hardware. Troubleshoot, exude professionalism, and stellar customer service. The Installation Technician will receive hands-on training and is expected to be a subject matter expert with all of our product offerings. What You’ll Do: Create a sense of urgency! Working with our new customers in-person to assist them with installing their new Merchant Services equipment, as well as activation, troubleshooting, and testing of their equipment. Clearly and patiently walk customers through our activation steps Be committed to constant learning and development; every day you will learn something new that will make you better! Provide excellent service to all of our customers Work cross-functionally with other team members under a common goal of supporting new customers Who You Are: You are a clear communicator – you will deal with customers that may require additional explanation to understand how to set up their hardware or software You will create urgency – our customers are busy so you may need to reach out a few times to get them confirmed for an install time/date You are curious – we offer a wide array of products and solutions and will train you on all of them You are a problem solver that is committed to getting the task done, think on your feet to solve the problem, get extra tools, adjust Have experience working with cables, technology, and installing equipment TransNational Payments is now powered by Celero Commerce .
