What will you do This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction to our installation field staff in the Reno and Sacramento offices. Responsibilities include supervising technicians and fitters, deploying business strategies, implementing action plans, bid review and development, to meet the districts objectives and drive profitable growth of the business, including embracing the company programs. How you will do it · In the field: You will be responsible for occasionally working from ladders and lifting equipment by installing with field staff to maintain project schedules and to demonstrate correct installation for field staff development. Coordinate with subcontractors and quality check their installations. Working with the AHJ to secure approvals and coordinate necessary testing. Revenue responsibility: Including implementing plans, programs and processes designed to meet and exceed corporate goals and objectives as well as maximizing market potential of the installation business including new bookings (sales), revenue and profitability. · Customer Satisfaction: Responsible for maintaining effective customer communications along with building solid customer relationships from initial contact through order acquisition, delivery, installation and service. Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled while quickly resolving customer complaints concerning service and collection issues thereby minimizing customer concerns and enhancing customer relations. · Productivity Improvement: Responsible for setting fair and manageable territories for technicians. Ensure that fair and effective performance measurements are assigned and that employees are motivated to achieve and/or exceed their assigned goals and objectives utilizing management tools and practices. Also responsible for being proficient at, perform as required, and instruct/train all new and existing technical and fitter direct field staff. · Safety Compliance : Ensure that all employees comply with corporate safety programs. Responsible to ensure that employee safety training is complete and up-to-date. Identify safety issues and hazards and notify corporate safety office of those conditions that require corrective action. Be responsible for driving a safety culture within the team directly reporting to you.
