About The Position

Anguil Environmental Systems, Inc. is a global manufacturing provider of industrial air pollution control, energy recovery systems, and wastewater treatment technologies. We are seeking to hire an Equipment Installer to specialize in managing all aspects of onsite activities of capital industrial equipment including pre-sale estimates, post-sale planning, Request for Quote (RFQ) preparation, contracting trades, and installation supervision. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an organized and dependable detail-oriented person that is well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals from different disciplines to achieve the best results. Reporting to the Installation Manager, the Installation Supervisor I is an integral part of a team responsible for providing supervision for New Equipment and Aftermarket projects, coordinating contractors, and overseeing onsite construction and installation activities. This role requires extensive communication and coordination with internal departments, subcontractors, and customers. Responsibilities include updating schedules, supervising subcontractors, tracking and reporting project progression, and ensuring successful on-site execution. Strong knowledge of hand tools, construction equipment (telehandlers, cranes, scissor lifts, boom lifts), and construction materials (piping, ductwork, hardware, anchors, etc.) is essential. This position involves traveling to various sites, domestically and globally, to install Anguil equipment independently.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to interact with internal project teams, contractors, customers, and vendors
  • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and/or construction blueprints and drawings
  • Ability to layout dimensions, measuring, chalk lines, lasers, levels, etc.
  • General knowledge of onsite take-offs and the Pythagorean theorem
  • Understanding construction procedures and associated safety requirements
  • Proficiency in creating correspondence, documentation, schedules, and reports
  • Experience monitoring project expenditures and being able to report findings
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and guidelines
  • Ability to complete OSHA requirements (OSHA 10, Confined Space, First Aid, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours that may vary due to customer needs and may include day, night, weekends, and holidays as project calendar or deadlines dictate
  • Team player with leadership abilities and physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, drilling, and tightening hardware.
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residency and an active/current passport
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Completion of high school diploma or GED, with additional coursework in construction management. Equivalent relevant experience is also acceptable
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a construction field, manufacturing, or technical support role
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products and planning tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fabrication a plus
  • Experience with welding a plus
  • Experience with industrial ventilation
  • Significant experience with tools such as impact drivers & drills, saws, pipe threaders, tube bending, all hand tools, lasers, and levels
  • Ability to operate telehandlers, boom lifts, forklifts, and scissor lifts

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance for mechanical, electrical, and construction tasks
  • Supervise and perform onsite construction and installation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Assist with pre-sale estimates and post-sale planning, including RFQ preparation and contracting trades
  • Maintain effective communication with internal departments, subcontractors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Follow and update all project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Manage subcontractors to meet project requirements and standards
  • Monitor and track project budgets to meet financial objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Report to the Installation manager, providing regular updates on project status and any potential issues
  • Problem solve for any issues that may arise on site
  • Work independently and as the only Anguil Representative on site
