About The Position

POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the General Manager, the Inside Sales person oversees the parts department, Inventory, provides quote support, and oversees follow up recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction. This role provides sales support for quotations generated by the General Manager, the Operations Manager, or the Sales Representative. This role also provides parts inventory management, quoting support and generates new business. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Parts Department Oversight Main Activities: · Create proposals based on the customer’s request, scope, budget, and site to meet or exceed budget targets for new parts and equipment. · Order and receive the required parts and components using our operating system. · Monitor the sale from the planning stage through to execution and completion. · Communicate with the internal team daily. · Manage, monitor warehouse inventory, ordering of inventory, shipping and receiving. · Other duties as required. Generating Quotes Main Activities: · Produces quotes from leads, technician follow ups, recommendations and direct contact with customers. In some cases, this may require a site visit. · Establish working relationships and effective communications with key product partners. · Seek review and approval from Management for larger quotes (over $2,500). · Send quote to management for review. · Follow up 3 - 5 times with customers if PO is not provided (quotes should be kept active for up to 6 months). · Participate in Sales operational reviews and provide analyzed results. · Other duties as required. Safety Leadership Main Activities: · Employ a safety-first mindset and contribute to a safe environment daily. · Fully participate in all required training sessions related to position. · Monitor work environment for hazards and maintain a healthy work environment. · Take steps to rectify any potential hazards (e.g. faulty equipment) or potentially hazardous conditions. · Ensure good housekeeping in all workspaces. · Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Inside sales
  • Operating systems (Sage)
  • Inventory processes, ordering, receiving and shipping.
  • Experience with budget management.
  • Working knowledge of commercial and industrial boilers, and related equipment repairs and replacement.
  • Valid Driver’s License to travel to customer sites if required.
  • Strong management and leadership ability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication ability.
  • Moderate mechanical / Parts knowledge and aptitude.
  • Excellent customer service acumen.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and competing demands.
