About The Position

The Senior Office Solutions Specialist is responsible for calling on existing Ricoh accounts with the primary goal of retaining the current customer base and expanding Ricoh’s product and service footprint. This is a 100% telephone-based sales role requiring a minimum of 30 outbound calls/activities per day. The Sr. Account Executive must maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in the RForce system regarding potential opportunities within accounts. This position may expand to include Zero-Based Accounts (ZBA), lead generation, or other projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related sales environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful telephone-based B2B account management and development experience.
  • At least 6 months of Ricoh sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to follow instructions and think on your feet.
  • Coachable, responsible, and consistently motivated.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in negotiation, written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and account planning skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with effective time management abilities.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales in the SMB customer segment using a telephone-based approach.
  • Make a minimum of 30 outbound business-to-business calls/activities daily.
  • Focus on customer retention and expansion of Ricoh’s equipment and service offerings.
  • Utilize customer-focused selling techniques, including effective communication and objection handling.
  • Deliver prepared sales scripts and talking points to describe products and services.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and placement goals for equipment and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity in the RForce sales database.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
