About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is a sales support role serving as a first point-of-contact to our manufacturer’s representatives and customers. This is an important role that is responsible for addressing a wide range of issues, questions, and requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service OR a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years general work experience
  • Excellent customer service, listening, time management, organizational and proven follow-up skills
  • Ability to prioritize and produce a high volume of work quickly, accurately and with a sense of urgency

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with manufacturer’s reps, external customers, and internal customers.
  • Continue to learn the Atlas product line and be able to communicate the “Atlas Value”.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
  • Answer incoming calls and support customers through a combination of Technical Support. Quotations, Order Follow-up, Problem Resolution, and New Business Development.
  • Respond to customer with accurate and timely information on quotes and product related questions in a professional manner.
  • Proactively follow up on open quotes and orders for assigned accounts.
  • Proactively call customers to develop business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely support to RSM’s on customer related matters.
  • Stay current on product details.
  • Ensure appropriate customer contact information is kept current in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Know and manage the territory by effectively using sales reports and developing specific actions directly related to business development and growth.
  • Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies when providing product pricing and quotations.
  • Quickly resolve issues.
  • Manage daily workload to meet or exceed all turnaround-time goals.
  • Special projects as assigned.
