Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to join our Commercial team in Olathe, KS! The Inside Sales Representative should have strong customer service skills and will support sales through calling existing and potential residential customers. Requirements

  • Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
  • Must be detail-oriented and good with numbers
  • Must have an outgoing personality and a natural affinity for taking care of customers
  • References must be able to tell us that you have an outstanding work ethic, are highly reliable, and self-motivated with a drive to be successful
  • Must have good time management skills, be organized and have the ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with blue prints/plans and specs (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems; consultative sales.
  • Work directly with management and service technicians to find customer solutions.
  • Provide service technicians or external sales pricing for more complex projects that require additional resources that would be unavailable in the field.
  • Estimate, detail, and submit final proposals to customers within 24 hours utilizing our BOE form and vendor requested pricing.
  • Maintain and updates Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) and SAM daily.
  • Provide a list of labor, materials, and parts for order entry.
  • Responsible for achieving sales objectives.
  • Help others in the office and region with product knowledge as needed.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
