About The Position

Inside Sales Representative – Empower Intel and Civilian Agency Sales at Owl Cyber Defense! Owl Cyber Defense, a trusted leader in cybersecurity, is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our intel and civilian agency sales teams. In this role, you’ll be a key player in driving business growth—managing sales leads, tracking and managing renewals, generating quotes, and ensuring smooth transactions for our intel and civilian customers worldwide. You'll collaborate with distribution partners, sales reps, and legal teams to facilitate deals, streamline compliance, and coordinate seamless order processing. Requirements

  • College Degree Preferred
  • 1-3 years of work experience in customer service, sales support or sales development role(s)
  • Experience working with MS Teams using cloud-based file management, Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint and/or related online collaboration tools and systems
  • Experience professionally communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize, categorize, and action through multiple channels of communication simultaneously
  • The ability to track the progress of multiple tasks, documenting and resolving roadblocks as needed
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to travel as needed
  • US Citizenship is required due to Owl’s Government contracts (active security clearance is preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, Costpoint, SharePoint, or similar CRM systems preferred
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and the flexibility to pivot when needed
  • Proficient with Excel, Power Point, Office 365
  • Preference for candidates within proximity and able to commute to Owl’s Columbia, MD or Morrisville, NC office one day per week
  • active security clearance is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Proactive pursuit, tracking and management of renewal business for assigned territory in coordination with sales reps
  • Timely follow up on inbound intel and civilian agency sales leads, making warm introductions to distribution partners as needed
  • Generate quotes in support of deals for both distribution partners and end-users
  • Cultivate customer and partner relationships and develop new opportunities by following through on trade show leads and general prospecting efforts
  • Generate and distribute reports to distribution partners and Owl management
  • Work with sales and Owl legal team to gather and record required compliance documentation regarding orders
  • Acknowledge and process purchase orders from customers and distributors
  • Coordinate with Owl support team and customers to plan delivery activities
