About The Position

At View Ridge Law , we work with individuals facing significant life transitions: divorce, the loss of a loved one (probate), workplace disputes, and the foundational steps of starting a business or an estate plan. These are not just legal files; they are moments of high stress and uncertainty. Your role is to be the first point of professional contact. You are responsible for leading potential clients through a consultation process that identifies their needs, addresses their fears, and helps them decide if our firm is the right partner to solve their problem. This is a sales position. However, we define sales as the act of helping someone make a decision that is in their own best interest. If you believe that selling is "convincing" people to do things they don't want to do, this is not the role for you. The Reality of the Position We value truth over comfort. We track every lead and every outcome. You will be expected to report your numbers weekly and take ownership of your performance. The stakes are high. Clients are often at their lowest point. You must possess the emotional resilience to support them while maintaining the professional boundaries required to do your job effectively. We are a Seattle-based firm. You must be willing to meet clients at our home base in Seattle and drive to our satellite offices in the metro area.

Requirements

  • Consultative Experience: You have a demonstrated history of managing high-value transactions or complex emotional decisions. Experience in professional services, insurance, or counseling is often a strong fit.
  • Conversational Command: You can lead a conversation with a person in distress without becoming overwhelmed by their emotions. You know how to ask the difficult questions that lead to clarity.
  • Objective Focused: You are comfortable being measured by your conversion rates and the revenue you bring into the firm. You view metrics as a tool for personal and professional growth.
  • Operational Discipline: You follow established protocols. You understand that a law firm functions best when systems are respected and executed with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Consultations: You will lead in-person and remote meetings with prospects to uncover the legal and emotional challenges they face.
  • Pipeline Management: You will manage the entire intake lifecycle, including consistent follow-up with those who have not yet committed to a path forward.
  • Data Integrity: You will maintain precise records in our CRM and databases. We rely on data—not intuition—to measure the health of our firm and the effectiveness of our intake process.
  • Seamless Onboarding: You will ensure that once a client decides to hire us, the transition to our legal production team is clear, professional, and reassuring.
