About The Position

OEG Building Materials is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support and grow our national and local accounts through direct sales efforts. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, generating new business, and supporting contractors and engineers with structural steel and construction material solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience (construction or steel industry preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively call on national and local accounts to grow sales.
  • Generate new business through outbound calls and follow-ups.
  • Prepare quotes, bids, and proposals; negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
  • Track projects from bid stage through completion.
  • Provide product information and coordinate with operations for timely delivery.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and maintain accurate sales records.
