Job Title: Inside Sales Representative – Samco (Value Brand) Overview We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to serve as the dedicated revenue owner for our Samco value brand. This role will focus exclusively on driving growth within the Samco portfolio by reactivating lost accounts, expanding existing customer relationships, and supporting the outside sales team with brand specific opportunities, coordinating with marketing team on campaigns, and developing new opportunities. This position plays a critical role in executing our Samco Renewal initiative, which centers on structured outbound outreach, targeted marketing support, disciplined follow-up, and precise brand positioning. The ideal candidate combines strong outbound sales ability with disciplined CRM usage, pipeline management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across inside sales, outside sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of inside sales or outbound sales experience, preferably in B2B or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong outbound calling and prospecting skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth & Account Development Own and grow assigned Samco accounts, including lapsed, reduced-volume, and high-potential customers.
  • Execute structured outbound calling campaigns to re-engage traditional Samco customers and convert new value-focused prospects.
  • Develop strategic account plans to increase wallet share and improve retention.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets tied to Samco revenue growth objectives.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the Samco assortment.
  • Outbound Sales Execution Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via phone and email with disciplined follow-up cadence.
  • Leverage targeted catalogs, samples, and marketing collateral to support conversion (not mass distribution).
  • Qualify opportunities thoroughly to ensure correct product fit and pricing alignment.
  • Maintain detailed call notes, opportunity updates, and next steps within CRM.
  • Channel Alignment & Brand Positioning Serve as the internal subject matter expert for the Samco value brand.
  • Ensure customers seeking value-tier solutions are properly positioned within Samco rather than premium product lines when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Outside Regional Sales Directors, Inside Sales peers, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure account alignment and seamless execution.
  • Support cross-channel coordination to reduce internal brand friction and improve customer clarity.
  • Pipeline Management & Reporting Maintain a clean, accurate, and actionable CRM pipeline.
  • Track leading indicators including outbound activity, reactivation rates, pipeline value, close rates, and revenue attainment.
  • Provide regular forecasting updates and insights on Samco performance trends.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene standards, ensuring data integrity and visibility.
  • Customer Experience & Retention Develop trusted advisor relationships with value-oriented customers.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, pricing requests, and follow-ups.
  • Resolve issues in collaboration with internal departments to ensure positive customer outcomes.
  • Identify patterns in lost business and provide feedback to leadership on pricing, assortment gaps, or competitive activity
