About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative/Warehouse Associate plays a dual role in driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You’ll manage inside sales activities -- building strong relationships with customers, processing orders, and supporting the outside sales team while also assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This is a dynamic, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent business writing and computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required)
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a team-selling environment
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and customer focus
  • Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field
  • Experience in industrial or plastics distribution

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Provide information about products, pricing, and availability to new and existing customers
  • Place outbound calls to identify opportunities, decision-makers, and service needs
  • Collaborate closely with the outside sales team to proactively increase market share
  • Work with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with inventory management based on customer and branch needs
  • Perform shipping, receiving, and material handling duties
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain organized stock areas
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification or willingness to obtain required)
  • Perform cut-to-size and fabrication as needed
  • Ensure adherence to housekeeping standards, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with Sales and Management on material status and order fulfillment
  • Support warehouse process improvements and uphold company operational procedures
