We are looking for an Inside Sales Producer to join our Personal Lines team on a Hybrid work schedule. Overview: Achieve new business sales goals as agreed by management working with new and established lead sources and provide professional expertise and service to Personal Lines clients in accordance with the practices, policies, and procedures of the Company.

Requirements

  • Experience servicing personal accounts within an insurance agency.
  • Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets.
  • Experience with an automated agency management system.
  • Active Producer license or ability to obtain license within six months of start date.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business for the agency – take responsibility and ownership for making our business grow and improving/building the relationships with our existing and future customers.
  • Meet annual sales goal set by management.
  • Perform accurate and thorough reviews of client coverage, exposure, price and communicate recommendations to the customer in a timely manner subject to the compliance of Hub broker standards.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all available products to enhance sales ability.
  • Negotiate favorable coverages and rates for our clients.
  • Keep communication lines open with the lead source generator.
  • Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements of carriers.
  • Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes in them.
  • Keep current with industry trends by reading appropriate journals, company bulletins, memos, educational classes etc.
  • Prepare reports for management as required.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
