Summary The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the inside sales team to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention. This position develops sales strategies, sets performance metrics, and coaches team members to ensure sales targets are met while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Manager collaborates closely with Marketing, Operations, and Regional Sales teams to align efforts, optimize sales processes, and deliver measurable business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of inside sales, business development, or lead generation experience.
  • 2+ years of Inside sales management experience.

  • Experience in the industrial industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the inside sales team through recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Manage and optimize team use of Salesforce CRM and Industrial Info Resources (IIR) to build pipelines, track activities, and monitor performance.
  • Provide market insights, customer feedback, and data-driven recommendations to Sales Managers to improve win rates and optimize territory coverage.
  • Direct inside sales resources to generate qualified leads, support regional sales teams, and enhance customer acquisition and account growth.
  • Partner with Marketing to align campaigns with lead generation goals and maximize inbound opportunities.
  • Analyze lead conversion and market data to refine outreach strategies, improve team effectiveness, and support business growth.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Managers on customer needs, proposals, and strategic account development.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams and addressing client needs.
  • Contribute to strategic and tactical planning to align inside sales activities with corporate goals.
  • Leverage CRM tools and market intelligence platforms to build and maintain a robust team-level pipeline of qualified leads
  • Support regional sales teams by directing inside sales resources to provide warm leads and actionable insights
  • Analyze team lead-conversion data to refine outreach strategies and improve overall sales effectiveness
  • Share successful sales practices and ensure best practices are adopted across the inside sales team
